Who is Wallace Chung?
Wallace Chung, affectionately called “Wa” by his fans, is a Chinese actor, singer and dancer with millions of fans around the world. His Chinese name is Wallace Chung Hon-leung 鍾漢良).
He was born November 30, 1974 into a Hong Kong family and has several sisters. His career started in 1993 with an appearance on a television drama called “The Chord to Victory.” He moved to Taiwan to establish his singing career. In 1995 he made a dance album called OREA and was given the nickname of “Little Sun” by a growing group of fans. He released another album and appeared in the television series “Imminent Crisis.” which garnered kudos for him and a nomination for the China TV Golden Eagle Award. In 2015 he was the lead actor playing the role of He Yichen in the drama called “My Sunshine”. It is this drama role that many fans credit for making them “fall into the water” to become devoted fans of Wa.
Wallace is a practicing Buddhist and vegetarian. He keeps his personal life private and his fans respect this privacy.

The Famous People
Wa fans follow Wallace and keep in touch with each other using various social media platforms. There are several excellent groups of fans on FaceBook, including the Wallace Chung North America LM Group. Although the name suggests members are in North America, the fans are from around the world and everyone is welcome to join the group. It is an active group and there is fresh content to view every day. The members are very friendly and willing to answer questions about Wa.
Wallace does not have a Facebook account. However, he does have accounts on other Chinese social media platforms where he posts updates for his fans. Weibo, Red (xiaohongshu), and TikToc are his primary communications channels. If you are unable or do not want to join these social media platforms, not to worry. The administrators of Facebook Wallace Chung fan groups always share the latest news Wa publishes on any platform.
In November 2024 Wallace celebrated his 50th birthday. There is a separate page in this blog about his birthday celebration. Of course the bagel was there, sneaking pieces of the cake!
